Julie Jane (Yeknik) Brindley

Julie Jane Yeknik Brindley of Woodbridge, VA went home to Jesus on April 4, 2025 at age 83.  Julie was born to Wayne and Dora Yeknik in Elkhart, Indiana.

Julie is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Robert Yeknik.  Julie is survived by her brother, Matt Yeknik of Phoenix, AR and her children: David J Cassady, Jr. and wife, Gloria of Gibsonville, NC; Jennifer Charles and husband Scott of Hamilton, OH; and Michael Brindley of Missouri.  Grandchildren: Caly Bruton (Daniel) of Gainesville, VA; David M. Cassady (Quinn) of Cary, NC; Marisa Cheek (William) of Randleman, NC; Rebeca Cassady of Gibsonville, NC; Joel Cassady of Gibsonville, NC; David Hoffman (Katie) of Las Vegas, NV; Suzi Bibee (Richie) of Fairfield,OH; Cody Brindley (fiancée Sarah Caldwell) of Mammoth Spring, AR; Hannah Harper (Keegan) of West Plains, MO; and Abigail Green (Cody) of Ash Flat, AR. Great Grandchildren: Bella, Kai, Parker, Asa, Levi, Kate, Elis, Truett, Lena, John, Peter, Oliver, Eleanor, Josephine, Preston, Nora, Ross, Remington, and Aria.

Julie found comfort in verses such as Psalm 91:1-2 “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’”

The family will gather privately on April 11th to remember, celebrate, and give thanks to the Lord for her life.
