June Lindley Walker

June Lindley Walker 86, of Graham, NC passed away on April 27, 2024 at the Hospice home in Burlington. A native of Alamance Co. NC, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Jenny May Johnson Lindley. June was an Artist and had done over 100 paintings for her family and friends and each family member has one of her works of art hanging in their homes with so much pride. She enjoyed making cards for every occasion and sending them to people whom she might light up their day. She loved her TV show Gunsmoke which she was watching up to the end and loved to cook old family recipes. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many and will forever be remembered for her good nature toward everyone. Survivors include her son, Mark Walker; her grandchildren, Misty Dawn Gulley, Tracy Brylewski Maymo, Lindy Michelle Parrish, Justin Boswell, and Donovan Hicks; her many loving great grandchildren; her sisters, Shirley Fox and Lilian Chance Breedlove. IN addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Ex-husband, Don Lee Walker; her loving daughters, Monica Van Walker and Belinda Sue Michaels; and her brothers, Morris E. Lindley and Jimmy R. Lindley. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. McClure Funeral Home in Graham is assisting the family.
