June Young

June McIntyer Young, 86, of Burlington passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Brookdale Senior Living in Burlington. June was born in Alamance County. She was a retired bank teller with First Union Bank and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. June is survived by her sons, Darrell Young (Kaye) of Burlington and Andrew Young of Graham. Grandchildren, Ashley Burton (David), Emily Norris, Jennifer Barnes (James), Shane Young and Shelly Young. Five Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Saunders Young, Jr. Mother, Eva Parrish Jobe and a brother, Bobby Jobe, Jr.A funeral service will be held at New Hope Baptist Church at 3:00 PM on Sunday, July 15, 2018 Officiating will be Pastor Randy Hobbs. Burial will follow in Historical Providence Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the church prior to the service. Other times they will be at the residence of Darrell and Kaye Young, 726 Fairfield St., Burlington, NC. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance/Caswell, 918 Chapel Hill, Rd., Burlington, NC 27215. McClure Funeral Home in Graham is in charge of arrangements.
