Karen Warren Durham

GREENSBORO - Karen Loraine Durham, 53, of 3545 Old Onslow Road, Greensboro, NC 27407 passed away Sunday, December 18, 2016 at 4:14 a.m. at Moses Cone Hospital of complications of her courageous and extended battle with Cancer. Karen was employed by BB&T as part of their Mortgage Underwriting department in Greensboro offices. Survivors include her husband Michael R. Durham of Greensboro, NC; daughter, Raleigh Elizabeth Durham of Wrightsville Beach, NC; siblings, Betty Ann (Howard) Kerstetter of Jonesboro, Georgia, James Warren of Columbus, Georgia, sister-in-law Pamela Turner Teer of Mebane, NC; nieces, Cindy (Bill) Owens of Kennesaw, GA, Tracy Hale, Fayetteville, GA; nephews, Joshua and Adam Turner of Mebane, NC; great-nieces, Madalyn & Emily Owens, Alyson Hale of GA, Gracie Turner of NC; great-nephews, Alex, Bryce & Braden Hale of Georgia, Jake & Matt Turner of NC. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Forrest and Betty Louise (Starnes) Warren, and step-mother Mary Eason Warren; siblings, Douglas Warren, David Warren, and Shirley Rowell and in-laws, Harvey Ray & Nannie Ruth Durham. The funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 At Oakgrove Church in Mebane. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. at the church on Tuesday. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
