Kathleen Marie Higgins

Mrs. Kathleen M. Higgins, 87, of 1127 Rogers Rd. Graham, NC passed away on Friday November 27, 2015 at her residence. A native of South Plainfield in Middlesex County, NJ, she was the daughter of the late George E. and Kathleen Gray Stitcher. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. She retired from Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center in Plainfield, NJ with 20 plus years of service to her community. She was an avid reader and loved to work on word puzzles. Surviving are her daughters, Lynne Higgins, of the home, Ellen Collins, of Howell, NJ and Kathleen Kula, of PA; grandchildren, Bryan Higgins, Chris Collins, Sarah McKnight, Amy Collins, Nick Kula, and Kyle Vittoria; great grandchildren, Gavin and Chloe McKnight; brother, George Stitcher, of AZ, and several loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Russell John Higgins and sister and brother in law, Joyce and Roy Snyder. The family will be at the residence at 1127 Rogers Rd. Graham, NC for family and friends to visit. There will be no public services held. McClure Funeral and Cremation Service in Graham are assisting the family.
