Kathy Shue Gooding

Mrs. Kathy Shue Gooding 70, of Snow Camp, NC passed away on February 15, 2023 at her residence. A native of Guilford Co. NC, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Bertha Shue. Kathy loved her Church and Church family and she always enjoyed the Church music. She and her late husband would always be together, and they loved each other with all of their hearts. Kathy loved her family and would always put the needs of family members above her own. Survivors include her son, Jason Tyler Cobb Sr. and wife Wendy Perry; her great grandchildren, Jason Tyler Cobb Jr., Austin Paige Cobb; a great great grandchild, William Jaxon Cobb; her sister, Ruth Wheeler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Melvin Gooding, a great grandson, Haiden Nathaniel Cobb; a brother, Kenny Shue and a nephew, Rodney Wayne Wheeler. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday February 22, 2023 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham with the Pastor David Hobson officiating. Burial will follow alongside her husband, in Cane Creek Friends Meeting in Snow Camp. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
