Katie Sue Hunt

HAW RIVER - Mrs. Katie Hunt, 81, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015, at the Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell. She was the youngest and last surviving child of 15 of John and Nancy Oakley. She attended Prospect Hill High School and worked at Kayser-Roth. Katie also attended Haw River United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Robert Hunt; daughter, Lib Hunt of Haw River; numerous nieces, nephews; other family; many supporting friends; and her church family. A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, March 29, 2015, at 3 p.m. at Haw River United Methodist Church with the family receiving friends from 1:30 to 3 p.m. in the church parlor prior to the service and at other times at the home. Interment will be in Haw River Cemetery
