Kendra Ann Batton

Kendra Ann Batton, 52, of Graham passed away on Sunday April 16, 2017 at her residence. A native of Alamance County, NC, she was the daughter of Horace Kent Batton and the late Patricia Watson Batton. She was known for being a Daddy’s girl and she loved her family with all of her heart. Her cats were for joy as she loved spending time with them and she was a movie and soap opera lover just like her mother. In addition to her father, she is survived by her brothers, Gene Thompson and wife Merle, of VA, Mike Thompson and wife Sandy, of OR and Jon Thompson, of VA; aunt and uncle, Jean and Bryan Ray, of Hillsborough; special cousin, Steve Marley, of Burlington and many other loving nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Kate Watson, Doug Batton and Jewel Harrelson. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:30 PM on Wednesday April 19, 2017 at the Phillip’s Chapel UMC Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM prior to the graveside service on Wednesday at McClure Funeral Home in Graham, and other times at the residence of the family.
