Kirk Dale Knight

Kirk Dale Knight of Mebane NC, passed away unexpectedly at home on January 31 at the age of 60.

Kirk made a life for himself and family primarily in Mebane NC. He spent his younger years working for Long Beverage alongside his father, and later years in life were dedicated to his career in HVAC primarily employed by Warren-Hay. Kirk was a hardworking man and a family man, He was very loved by many and will be deeply missed. His greatest joys in life were his children and grandchildren with one of last happiest memories being the birth of his newest grandson Lucas.

Kirk was the son of the late Arthur “Butch” Knight and the late Jerlene Knight; He is also preceded in death by his brother, Kevin Knight and his life partner, Michelle Shanklin.

He is survived by his brother Kenneth Knight and wife Elizabeth of Mebane NC; His children Ashley Knight, Nathan Knight and girlfriend Isabella Smith and Dalton Knight; Step son John Vaughn and grandchildren Alicia Jennings, Zaylah, Spencer and Lucas Knight all of Mebane NC.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 9, 2026 from 4pm-6pm at McClure Funeral Home in Mebane.
