Klara Maria Kutcis

MEBANE - Klara Maria Kutcis, 91, a resident of the Presbyterian Home of Hawfields, died Friday at her residence. She was a native of Offenbach, Germany, retired restaurant manager and of the Lutheran faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Heinrich and Klara Marschaund. She is survived by her husband, Peter Kutcis, of the residence; daughter, Monica K. Sylvestre and husband Paul of Hillsborough; and granddaughter, Nicole Marie Sylvestre of Boulder, Colo. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2014, in the Chapel of the Presbyterian Home of Hawfields by Pastor Stu Johnson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of America, 322 8th Ave, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
