Larry Wayne Herring

Larry Wayne Herring, 65, of Snow Camp passed away Monday, June 4, 2018 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. Larry was born in Alamance County. Larry was a member of Concord United Methodist Church. He was a butcher for Matkins Meat Processing that is now Piedmont Meat Company. He was an avid hunter, farmer and golfer. Larry is survived by his loving wife, Catherine Herring, home. Daughter, Linda Kate Massey (Eric) Snow Camp. Son, John Marshall Herring, Graham. Grandchild, Kelsey Leigh Herring. Brothers, Bobby Herring (Sue), Graham and Raymond Herring, Swepsonville. Sister, Linda Ruth Herring, Graham. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde T. and Edna Ruth Moon Herring. Brothers, Tommy, Mike, and David Herring. A funeral service will be held Friday, June 8, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Concord United Methodist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Molly White and Rev. Amanda Dixson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 Thursday evening at McClure Funeral Home in Graham. Other times they will be at the residence. The family ask that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Concord United Methodist Church Grounds Maintenance Fund, 4462 E, Greensboro – Chapel Hill Rd., Graham, NC 27253.
