Laura "Louise" Butler

SNOW CAMP, N.C. - Mrs. Laura Louise George Butler, 58, of 915 Quakenbush Road, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 12:20 a.m. at the Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Burlington after two months failing health. Born in Alamance County to the late Charlie and Mary George, she was a member of Guiding Light Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Tommie Butler Sr.; sons, Tommie Butler Jr. and wife Teresa, Chris Butler, Charlie Butler and wife Mary Beth, Shannon Butler and wife Amy; six grandchildren; sister, Mary Lou Whitsell; and brothers, Lee George, Billy Joe George and Clint George. A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Hico Baptist Church by the Rev. Robbie Lowe and the Rev. David Mros. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church, and at other times at the residence of the son, Shannon, 6013 Snow Camp Road.
