Laura Ann Ray Catoe 77, of 1315 Elder Way, Burlington, NC, died at 8:17 pm Friday, February 5, 2016 at her home after a brief illness. Laura was born in Alamance County was preceded in death by her husband Drewlane Teague Cato, parents Franklin Pierce Ray and Myrtle R. Ray . She was the owner of Catoe’s Safety Equipment and attended Trinity Worship Center. She is survived by three daughters Druanne Massey and husband Tommy of Burlington, Pamela Moyers and husband John of Burlington, Amy Catoe of the home, sisters Jean Berry of Graham, Nancy Griffin and husband Don of Snow Camp, brothers Bill Ray and wife Celia of Archdale, Joe Ray and wife Linda of Snow Camp. Don Ray and wife Leona of Florida, Pete Ray and wife Rosemary of Elon, four grandchildren Stephen Massey and wife Jessica, Andrea Massey, Drew Moyers and fiancé Asia Graves and Karis Moyers, one great grandchild Preston Moyers and a special friend Al Stout. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at the McClure Funeral Home in Graham from 12 noon until 2:00pm with a Funeral Service being held at 2:00 pm in the McClure Chapel. Officiating will be Pastor Harold Thompson and Pastor Cameron Horner. Burial will follow in the Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the residence at other times.
