Lee Grant Crawford

Lee Grant Crawford, 81 of Swepsonville went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 28, 2025. He was a native of Alamance County and spent the majority of his working years in the textile industry, where he began as a service boy and worked his way up to department head.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother. He married childhood sweetheart and love of his life with whom he spent forty-nine amazing years.

He enjoyed vacations with his family in the North Carolina mountains and the North Carolina coastline. Carolina beach was his favorite. He also enjoyed spending time with his many grandchildren.

Grant was the son of the late Frank James Crawford Sr. and the late Erma Touchstone Crawford. He was also preceded in death by his wife Linda Faye Tillotson Crawford, brothers Frank James Crawford Jr., Jack Crawford and Richard Crawford, and sister Shannon Crawford.

Grant is survived by his sons, Dennis Crawford (Kelly) of Asheboro and Danny Crawford (JoWynne) of Liberty. Grandchildren, Ashley Crawford of Chapel Hill, Jennifer Crawford of Asheville, Brandon Crawford of Liberty and Brendan Crawford of Liberty. Great grandchildren Mark Aiden Gross, Hayleigh Shoe, Cailyn Faye Ray and Cameron Ray and good friend of many years Wil Shoe.

A private service will be held in honor of Grants wishes. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
