Lena Soloman Massey

Lena Soloman Massey, 87, of Burlington passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. She was born in Alamance County to Lamberth and Lillie Soloman both deceased. She was a homemaker and she attended People’s Church in Mebane.

Lena is survived by her sons: Bernice “Alvis” Massey and wife Cathy of Burlington and Roger Massey of Mebane.  Twelve Grandchildren and Seven Great Grandchildren. In addition to her parents Lena was preceded in death by Five sisters and one brother.

A funeral service is planned for 3:00 PM  Friday, September 6, 2019 at the People’s Church in Mebane. Officiating will be Pastor James Christopher. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church following the service.
