Leonard Royall Brown, Jr., 72, of Burlington died Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at the Hospice Home in Burlington. A Native of Alamance County he was a graduate of Eastern High School and The Technical Institute of Alamance in Haw River (aka..ACC), retired from Lorillard Tobacco Company and was a US Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Royal Brown, Sr. & Dorothy Makin Brown and wife; Barbara Gail Cathey Brown; brothers, David Brown & James Brown

He is survived by his daughter; Kimberly (Don) Starcher; grandchildren, Brendan James Davis, Cassidy Makin Davis, Connor Thomas Davis; brothers, Charles Brown, Thomas Brown, Robert Brown; brother in law, Thomas (Debbie) Cathey; nieces, Tammi (Brad) Deal, Paige (Jerry) Payne, Ashley (Daniel) Tripp; nephews, Christopher Brown & Nick Brown

A service to celebrate his life will be 11:00 AM Saturday, March 7, 2020 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham by Dr. Dace Lewis.
