Linda Kay (Bescher) Gilliam

Mrs. Linda Kay Bescher Gilliam, 76, of Graham, NC went home to be with the Lord at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Monday, June 05, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Lena Woods Bescher. Mrs. Gilliam was a nurse at Memorial Hospital for 18 years and a retired nurse’s assistant.  She will be remembered for her compassion to others and her kind heart.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her son, Bo Gauldin; and her brother, Wayne Bescher.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Luke Gilliam; her half-brothers, Al Bescher (Jenny) and Ray Bescher (Vera); her sister-in-law, Susan Bescher; a special niece, Lori Greene; and a special nephew, Chris Bescher.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 08, 2023, at 12pm at Bethel Baptist Church in Graham.  The visitation will take place an hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park in Burlington.
