Linda Ruth Herring

Linda Ruth Herring, 61, of Graham, NC, passed away on Friday July 6, 2018 at the Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington. A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Eda Moon Herring. Linda was a loving sister, aunt, and friend to many. Linda was known for being an outstanding person, always putting others before herself. She treasured her family as she looked after many family members over the years. She loved her job with the University of North Carolina which she had been with for 10 years and previously she had worked with Culp for numerous years. Linda loved farming on the old family land as well as enjoying just being outdoors. Survivors include her brothers, Raymond Herring, of Swepsonville, William Herring and wife Sue, of Graham; lifelong partner, Garry Phillippie and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving brothers, David, Tommy, Larry, and Mike Herring. A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are with McClure Funeral Service in Graham.
