Linda Eller Hughes

Mrs. Linda Eller Hughes, 68 of Burlington, NC, passed away on Saturday December 7, 2019 at her residence. A native of Alamance Co. NC, she was the daughter of the late Jimmy Thomas and Pearl Spears Eller. Linda enjoyed crafts and going to the Library. She loved the Lord and spending time with her friends at Church. She loved her grandchildren and especially her great granddaughter as she was the light of her smiles. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. Survivors include her husband, Emmett Hughes Jr.; daughters, Sandra Edwards Cates and Angela Dawn Hughes; her son, Richard Bryan Hughes; her grandchildren, Seth Edwards and wife Whitney and Kayla Edwards; her loving great granddaughter, Ruby Mae Edwards; sisters, Phyllis Chambers and husband Bill and Mary E. Jones; her brothers, George and Larry Eller. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Eller. The family would like to invite family and friends to stop by the home to visit and share stories of Mrs. Hughes anytime this week after 10:00 AM until Friday December 13, 2019.
