Mrs. Linda Kay Lane Young, 70, passed peacefully Monday, Jan. 5, 2015.She is survived by her children, Marjorie Young Loy (Kevin) of Burlington, N.C., Barry Lee Young (Lori) of Holly Springs, N.C., Kevin Durand Young (Kris) of New York; grandchildren, Tyler Loy, Mitchell Loy, Corey Young, Sasha Nugent, Nick Nugent; special friends, Gracie Collins, Billie Ann Hall and Valinda Goren.She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Lane and Rosetta Collins Lane; husband, Oscar Jerry Young; brothers, WD Lane, James Lane, Bobby Lane; sisters, Dorothy Lane Durham, Geraldine Lane Irby, Betty Ruth Lane Hamlett and Joanne Lane Burton. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, at McClure Funeral Home in Graham, N.C.A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. January 10, 2015, at McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham with Pastor Manley Palmer Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Mebane, N.C.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Humane Society of Alamance County, P.O. Box 5117, Burlington, NC 27216. -
