Ms. Lisa Andrea Bryant of Green Level, NC departed her life on December 30, 2024. Born January 24, 1956 in Newark NJ to the late Billy Edward and Ramona Bernadette Reed Bryant.
During her younger life, she was tough and street smart. Aware of all and fearful of none.in 1971 her family moved from Newark NJ toGreen Level, NC. It was James (Tiger)Flowers, Annie Paylor Flowers, Lisa Andrea Bryant and David Andrew Bryant. We were bred to enjoy life..
Lisa met Jerry Lee Johnson, and they dated for a while. During this time, Jerry became a US Marine and served our country well. As they continued out of this union, a daughter was born named Tamika Shantel Johnson. During this time, Lisa furthered her education. She studied Business administration and marketing at ACC. She received her degree as an honor student. She was also a peer counselor who kept others focused.
She left NC and moved to Atlantic City, NJ to start a new job with the casino in 1994. She worked at the casino for 5 years and then transitioned to being a property manager in 1999. She held that Job until she returned home in 2007. During her time in Atlantic City, her father fell sick and she cared for him.
She returned home in 2007, Shye started to help her daughter Tamika tend to Annie flowers until she passed. They did remarkable things with Mrs. Flowers that determination and grit held steadfast.
She developed lymphoma in August 2015. She fought, struggled and gave it her all. During this fragile time, GOD saw her pain and saw fit to remove the cancer.
After she got back home, she decided to get a car in 2018, This was a gift to herself. She then Tried and got her drivers license after 20 Plus years so she could come and go as she pleased and not depend on anyone Now she could go to Roses, Dollar Tree, Dollar General and Food Lion whenever she desired.
She lived a very fruitful life. She touched many people and was abundantly loved. She also toughed the hearts of many animals. She had cats and a dog named Diamond who passed 6 days after her. She returned home in 2007, Shye started to help her daughter Tamika tend to Annie flowers until she passed. They did remarkable things with Mrs. Flowers that determination and grit held steadfast.
It is safe to say that she was loved and shared her love and respect with others. She loved her family and friends.
She leaves behind a daughter, Tamika Johnson and grandson, Timothy Clay; brother, David Bryant and 2 nieces Ramona Bryant Veasey and Chenelle Yvette Bryant; 3 great nieces, Yazna El Amin, Mekhia Veasey and Ivey Catter; great nephew Josiah Veasey. 2nd cousins, Maxine Newkirk, Eddie Richardson and many more. 3 close friends, Linda Farrington, Jean Mims and Mike Spruill. Lisa we miss you. Gone but not forgotten.
