Lola Lafaye (Everett) Burgh

Lola Lafaye Everett Burgh, 78, of Graham passed away Thursday, March 12, 2020 at her residence. Lola, known to most as “Faye”, was born in Orange County, NC to Arthur MacAllister and Louise Everett, both deceased. She was a member of Miles Chapel Baptist Church, Mebane, NC.

Faye is survived by her children: Dr. Theodore Burgh and his wife Ann of Wilmington; Connie Alston and her husband Elder Isaac of Mebane;  Elizabeth Bennett and her husband Derek of High Point; Monica Burgh and her friend Greg Surgeon of Whitsett; and her niece, Gloria Jean McIver and her husband Wallace of NY. She is also survived by her eleven grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren, brother-in-law, Stuart Burgh and his wife Brenda of Delaware. She leaves behind close friends Ray and Debbie Womack and Nazlah Love and family. In addition to her parents, Faye is preceded in death by her husband, Archie Burgh; daughter, Felicia Ellington and her husband Brad, and a sister, Hannah Spearman.

Due to public safety all funeral services will now be private. Mrs. Burgh will be open for public viewing from 12 noon until 5 PM  Thursday.

A private funeral service will be held Friday, March 20, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. Officiating will be Rev. Scottie Torain. Burial will follow at Children’s Chapel UCC Cemetery, 334 E. Harden St, Graham, NC.
