Lucille Jones Tuttle

GRAHAM – Lucille Jones Tuttle, 91, of Charlotte, formerly of Burlington and Graham, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 28, 2014. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was an active member of Andrews Memorial Baptist Church for 59 years before moving to Charlotte in 2004. She loved being with her family and visiting/spending time with her sisters. Survivors include three sons; Leon Tuttle Jr. (Shelia) of Waxhaw, NC, Walter Tuttle (Judy) of Greer, SC and Daryl Tuttle (Pam) of Chattanooga, TN; one daughter, Cheryl Tuttle Henriksen of Charlotte; sisters, Evelyn Sharp of Graham; Edith Boswell and husband Gene of Burlington; and Pauline Long of Durham.; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Leon Elwood Tuttle Sr., mother Ruby Jones, father Jim Jones, brother Buddy Jones and Sister Juanita Harris. The family will receive friends on Wednesday December 31, 2014 for one hour from 1 to 2 pm at McClure Funeral Home of Graham. In celebration of her life, a chapel service will be held immediately afterward at 2 pm, conducted by Dr. Tommy Willis. Burial will be in Graham Memorial Park.
