Lynn David Houseknecht

Mr. Lynn David Houseknecht, 67, of Mebane, NC, passed away on Saturday March 12, 2016 at his residence. A native of Tioga Co. New York, he was the son of the late Harry H. and Clara Miller Houseknecht. Mr. Houseknecht was a proud veteran of the US Navy serving in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Grace Reformed Baptist Church and was retired from JP Morgan Chase as a Managing Director. He was an avid Nascar fan and loved to play golf, read and watch movies. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Gale Salbego Houseknecht, of the home; sons, Chris L. Houseknecht and wife Amy, of Wake Forest and Brady L. Houseknecht and companion Oksana Riberdy, of Chicago, IL; brother, Bruce Houseknecht and wife Dawn, of NC and several loving nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Thomas S. Houseknecht. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday March 15, 2016 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Fortner officiating. . Burial will be held in Wake Forest, NC.
