Madeline Gayle Gregory, 81, beloved mother of 3 daughters and sons-in-law, 6 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter, went home to be with her Savior on Thursday February 16, 2017 after a year of failing health. Mrs. Gregory was born in Guilford County on February 15, 1936, the daughter of James Henry and Lottie Mae Abbott Priddy. She was a retired administrative assistant for Gregory Plumbing, and was a member of Grace Reformed Baptist Church in Mebane. Survivors include her daughters and their spouses, Vickie G. Averett (Trevis Averett), Sheryl G. Morris (Steve Morris) and Jeri G. Church (Roland S. Church, Sr.); grandchildren, Jason and Nolan Averett, Kenny Morris (wife, Mandi), Kelly Franklin (husband, Taft), Roland Shane Church, Jr., Caleb L. Church; great-grandchild, Anniston Leigh Franklin; sisters, Joyce Watson (Charles) and Rachel Kennedy (James), all from Pinnacle, NC; and brothers, Steve Priddy (Hilda) of Clemmons, David Priddy (Sue) of Walnut Cove, Jerry Priddy (Cindy) of King; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 12:30 pm Saturday at Oakwood Cemetery in Mebane, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 pm at Grace Reformed Baptist Church in Mebane. Memorials may be given to the NC Lymphoma Society, 401 Harrison Oaks Blvd Suite 200 Cary, NC 27153; or to Hospice of Alamance Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road Burlington, NC 27215.
