Maggie Long Bundren

Mrs. Maggie Thelma Long Bundren, born May 3, 1929 received her wings at the age of 86 on Friday February 26, 2016 at 4:30PM at the Hospice Home in Burlington. She was a very loving, caring, and giving person. She was loved by so many. She is survived by her daughter: Shirley Gauldin; grandchildren: Lolita Gauldin & fiancé David Walker, Milton Gauldin Jr., Jimmy Long & wife Amy, Leslie Long Shirley, Tonya & Jamie McKinney; seven great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents: Robert Young Long and Mary Roberta “Tody” Long; son: Jimmy Leon Long; husband: Roy Bundren; and brother: John Thomas Long. A graveside service will be conducted on Monday February 29, 2016 at 3:00PM at Pine Hill Cemetery in Burlington. Officiating will be Pastor Tommy Bright. The family will receive friends at the home or her granddaughter’s home.
