Maggie Moore Edmonds

Maggie Moore Edmonds, 85, passed away on October 24, 2021 at Liberty Commons in Burlington.  She was the daughter of the late William and Mandy Cates Moore and the wife of the late Thomas “Tinker” Edmonds.  She worked at Cone Mills before retiring from Dixie Yarns. Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Eddins (Mark) of Burlington; grandsons, Ryan Eddins of Burlington, Chris Eddins (Lisa) of Gibsonville and Kyle Eddins of Texas.  She is also survived by a host of loving nieces and nephews. Other than her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her son, Jeffery Smith; brothers, Haywood Moore, Willie Moore, Elbert Moore and Lonnie Moore; sisters, Annie Glasgow, Pearl Williams, Macie Bare, Maebelle Moore and Blanche Moore. A funeral service will be held on Saturday October 30, 2021 at 12pm in the McClure Chapel in Graham with Rev. Randy Haynes and Rev. Walter Jones officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11am-12pm prior to the service on Saturday.  At other times they will be at the residence.  Burial will follow in Alamance Memorial Park.
