Malon Rogers was born November the 24th 1971 and grew up in and around the area surrounding Burlington. Young, bold, and equipped with a sharp mind and keen sense of humor. He filled up his stomping grounds and early life with many stories of hardship and adventure. Never one to let the weight of the world get to him, Malon was the first of his family to graduate with a diploma from Cumming’s High School. He worked diligently to better his life and take opportunities when and where he could. Never seemingly afraid to push the boundaries of his potential. Around this time he met his wife, Donna Rogers, and they were married on Halloween, an endless source of joy for both of them. Then along came his eldest daughter Cheyenne Rogers in 1998. Next came his Second daughter and middle child Sierra Rogers in late 2000. Last, his youngest child and son Hunter Rogers in 2003. Malon was a compassionate husband and a thoughtful father. He continued to be a pillar of strength and an example of wisdom and kindness to his family and community.
Later in life, he continued to get his bachelor's degree at East Carolina University. Then his masters of business at Gardner web. He lived a life full of accomplishments and took great pride in them. He was a Mason, Scoutmaster, beekeeper, entrepreneur, travel and history enthusiast and so much more. But perhaps one of his greatest passions in life was his commitment to the Shriners of America and their hospitals. Please in lieu of flowers consider donating to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital. To speak a little more on his character, Malon was a joker. He believed that humor was a tool and a gift to bring people together and to weather the hardest of situations. He was ferociously strong, battling cancer in 2018 never taking a break from his career or from being a protector and a provider not only to his family but to the people that surrounded him. Toward the end of Malon’s life, he and his family owned a small candy store in the town of Thomasville, the same town where he raised his family. He was loved by many and will be missed by many for years to come. Malon passed away on August 15th 2025 surrounded by his family at High Point Regional Hospital at the age of 53. Malon is now resting with Sierra at Hawfield’s Presbyterian Graveyard.
