Mrs. Manie Ann Pace Cates, 65, of 1524 Albright Ave., Burlington, died Monday, February 10, 2014, at the Alamance Regional Medical Center after several years of failing health. Born in Alamance County to the late James Howard Pace and Alta Mae Vincent Pace, wife of the late Thomas Ruben Cates Sr. and sister to deceased brother Dace Mack Pace. She was a homemaker and a member of The Lambs Chapel. Surviving her are daughter Lora Perry and husband James of Efland, sons David Cates and wife Hilda of Snow Camp, Billy Cates of Burlington, Thomas Cates and wife Dana of Snow Camp, 5 grandchildren Kevin and Kristin Perry, Jada, Devin and Joseph Cates, sister Linda Crawford and husband James of Snow Camp. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 15, 2014, at the McClure Funeral Home in Graham from 6 until 8 p.m. other times at the residence. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, February 16, 2014, in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Moore's Chapel Cemetery.
