Margaret Petty Carter

Mrs. Margaret Ann Petty Carter 88, of Burlington, NC passed away on December 8, 2021 at Westchester Manor in High Point. Born on April 18, 1933 in Alamance Co. NC to the late Harvey and Margaret Edward Petty. Margaret went to Eli Whitney High School in Alamance County, NC. She was a member of Nall Memorial Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. Margaret loved the outdoors and spending time working in her yard. Survivors include her daughter, Jeanie Easley (Mark); a special son, Steven Ginter; her grandsons, Jeremy Joyce (Anne), Joshua Terrell; a granddaughter, Alicia Terrell; great grandsons, Austin Joyce, Jordan and Jayden Staley, Caleb and Dillon Terrell; great granddaughters, Madison Joyce and Destiny Enoch; her brother, Edward Hall and sisters, Shirley McKinney and Jackie Stromback.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving daughter, Ronda Ginter and a brother, John C. Petty. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday December 14, 2021 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham with the Pastor Wade Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service in the chapel.
