Margaret Richmond

Margaret Lynch Richmond, 96, of Mebane died Sunday, October 15, 2017 at the Presbyterian Home of Hawfields. She was a native of Alamance County, retired from Western Electric and a member of Mt. Zion Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Bingham and Hattie Murray Lynch; husband, Billy Kerr Richmond; son, David Kerr Richmond; brothers, Claude, Robert, John and Bill Lynch; sisters, Addie L. Moore, Lillie L. Grasham, Annie L. Crutchfield and Jenny L. Aydt. She is survived by her daughter, Rita Richmond Crawford; grandsons, Barrett Crawford, William Crawford and wife Emma, Robert Crawford; sister in law, Martha Lynch Pyles. A service to celebrate her life will be held 3:00 PM Friday, October 20, 2017 at Mt. Zion Christian Church by Rev. Rick Webster. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 1:00 – 3:00 before the service. Memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Christian Church, 3210 Mt.
