Margaret "Marie" Southard Terrell

Mrs. Margaret “Marie” Southard Terrell, 96, of Mebane, NC passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Daniel Alexander Southard and Annie Hall Southard. Mrs. Terrell retired from Western Electric after 34 years working in accounting.

In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas William Terrell, her son, Sammy Carr Terrell, and her brother, Kenneth Southard.

Marie is survived by her daughter, Elaine T. Dunn, her grandchildren, Tammy Dawkins (David), and Michael Terrell, two great-grandchildren, Evan Church (Rebecca), and Jessica Evans ((BJ), six great great-grandchildren Brenn Evans, Gaige Evans, Tatum Evans, Aubrey Church, Scarlett Church, and Amelia Church.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 15, 2023, from 2:00PM-3:00PM at the McClure Funeral Home in Mebane. A service will follow the visitation beginning at 3:00PM.
