Margaret Willis

Margaret Lunsford Willis, 86, of Mebane died Tuesday, August 4, 2020. She was a native of Caswell County, Retired from Annedeen Hosiery and a member of Eastside Baptist Church. She is the daughter of the late Coy and Nancy Elizabeth Walters Lunsford. Margaret was a woman of strong faith who loved Jesus, gospel music, gardening, fishing, being outdoors and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Jack Willis of the home; daughters, Crystal Johnson and husband Donald of Mebane, Sheila Voshell and husband Jim of Anderson, SC and Denise Garner and husband Marc of Mebane; grandchildren, Jason Carver, Jackie Carver, Matt Garner and wife Heather, Ashley Scott and husband John; great grandchildren, Cody, Caleb, Kirsten, Zach, Jaxson, Nick, Tyler, Tommy, Noah, Ava, Brystal, Charlee, JC, Isabella and AJ; great grandchildren, Brynley, Caleb, Jr., Kaiden and Mazilyn.

A service to celebrate her life will be 2:00 PM Saturday at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane by Pastor Chuck Perkins. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 to 2:00 before the service.
