Margie Modlin

Margie Modlin. 92, passed away on October 10, 2019 at the Presbyterian Home of Hawfields.  She was the daughter of the late Richard Banks and Nannie Bell McAdams.  She was very active in the community and enjoyed going to all the ball games.  Margie was also a member of the Friendly Garden Club of Mebane. She is survived by her son; Jeff Modlin, sister; Corrina Brewer and a grandson Michael Gasque. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Hermos Haywood Modlin, a son Ricky Banks Modlin and a sister Dorothy Shields. The family will receive friends from 5-7 on Sunday October 13, 2019 at McClure Funeral Service in Mebane, other times they will be at the home of Jeff Modlin.  A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Monday October 14, 2019 at Oakwood Cemetery with Pastor Sammy Ballard officiating. The family would like to thank the staff at the Presbyterian Home of Hawfields for their care and support during Margie’s stay .In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to be made to a charity of your choice.
