Margie M. (Voyles) Cates

Margie M. Cates, 73, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025. She was a native of Alamance County and a nannie. She is the daughter of the late Luther Houston & Ethel May Voyles. She was also preceded in death by brother, Emmit Voyles; sisters, Hazel Watts & Ruby Skinner

She is survived by her son, Jason Luther Cates; granddaughter, Summer Evans(Delaurance); great grandchildren, Emma Evans and Josiah Evans; sister, Carolyn Hicks; nieces and nephews, Michael and Patricia Skinner, Pam Skinner, Tim and Sherry Skinner, her favorite, Debra Watts, Lori and Roy Coley, Susan and Scott Clark, Wendy King, Tina Westbrooks, Angela and Robert Westbrooks; great nieces and nephews, Melissa Teague, Keisha Watts, Chris Watts
