Maria Lurdes Teixeira

Maria Lurdes Teixeira, 68, of Mebane passed away Monday, November 20, 2023 at her residence. Maria was born in Lisbon, Portugal to Alvaro Carreira and Georgina Carreira Teixeira. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Maria worked as a Technical Specialist and Leader in the Cut and Sewn Industry.

Maria is survived by her husband, Jose Manuel Teixeira. Children, Victor Teixeira (Kelly), Sonia Jahoo (Julian), Raquel Bermel (David), Twelve Grandchildren. Sister, Lita Viera (Manual).’

In addition to her parents Maria was also preceded in death by a daughter, Marcia Teixeira and brother, Graciano Carreira.

Funeral Mass for Mrs. Teixeira will be Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday evening at McClure Funeral Home in Mebane, NC. Other times they will be at the residence.
