Marion Elizabeth Donnelly

Mrs. Marion Elizabeth Donnelly, 92, of the Twin Lakes community, passed away on Monday December 8, 2014. She was the daughter of the late P. Carlton and Carol Nance Banister and the wife of the late Francis P. Donnelly. A native of Dallas, Texas, she was a homemaker as well as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. She is survived by her son, Captain Michael P. Donnelly and wife Vicki, of Australia; daughters, Patty Philipps and husband Andrew, of Mebane, Carol Letcher and husband Kevin, of Indiana, and Molly Bowering and husband Robert, of Maryland; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by sisters, Corinna Banister, Carolyn Ross, and Jo Ellen Dodd. Mrs. Donnelly will be interred alongside her husband at a later date at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance/Caswell at 918 Chapel Hill Rd. Burlington, NC 27215.
