Marjalena Nealey Wallace. 82, of Mebane, NC passed away Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Presbyterian Home of Hawfields in Mebane, NC. Marjalena was a native of Columbus County, NC. She was a homemaker and a member of Eastside Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister to her daughters, Sandra Carlton (Steve) of Danville, VA., and Brenda Turner (Barry) of Efland. Sons, Gerald “Jerry” Wallace (Wanda) of Burlington, and William “Bill” Wallace (Lisa) of Mebane, NC. Nine Grandchildren and Thirteen Great Grandchildren. A sister, Ann Nealey of Denton, NC. Brothers, Kenneth Nealey (Margaret) of Denton, NC and Bobby Nealey of Holden Beach, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Alexander Wallace. Her son, James Wallace. Her parents, William Ernest and Winnie Tyson Nealey. Two brothers and two sisters. A funeral service will be held Sunday, May 22, 2016 at 3:00 PM at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel, 1308 S. Third St., Mebane, NC. Officiating will be Pastor Chuck Perkins and Pastor David Fox. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral and Cremation Service in Mebane from 2 until 3 prior to the service. Other times they will be at the residence.
