Mark Mitchell Horner

Mark Mitchell Horner, 75, of Mebane, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025. He is a native of Alamance County and retired from the textile industry. He is the son of the late John Thomas and Ila Mozelle Harper Horner. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Joy Young Horner; siblings, Martha Knighten, Maggie Riley, Eugene Horner, William Horner and Thomas Horner

He is survived by his daughters, Cynthia Inman (Jesse), Amy Horner (Wayne) & Christy Strickland; sister, Nellie Hardy; brothers, John Horner, Jr., Leroy Horner (Mary) and James Riley (Sydni); grandchildren, Thomas, Bradley, Kayley, Little Man, Alyssa, Cassidy, Kennedi, Alyssa, Noah , Zeena; Mitchell, Darren, Damian & Daleseveral nieces and nephews.

To celebrate Mark’s life, the family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Mebane Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.  The family would like to thank the staff of Authoracare Hospice for the care shown to Mark during his time of illness.
