Mr. Mark Everette “Big MAC” Hatch, 40, of Mebane, NC, passed away on Tuesday July 21, 2015 after four years of declining health. He is the son of William Tyson “Bill” and Carol Brooks Hatch who survive of Mebane. He was a loving father, son, brother, uncle and friends to all. He was known for his big heart and he always found the good in people. He enjoyed family functions weather or not he was sick For a number of years he worked on race cars with friends which he loved so much. He was a member of The Lamb’s Chapel Church. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Clint Everett Hatch, of the home; sisters, Tina Straughan and ex-spouse, Tony, of Mebane and Christy Hill and husband Dean, of Mebane; grandmother, Lexie Jacobs, of Mebane; nieces, Brittany Straughan and Stacy Carden; nephew, Adam Hill; great nieces, Audrey Felts and Shyann Carden, and great nephew, Liam Hill. He is preceded in death by grandfather, Everette Tyson Hatch; step grandfather, Jake Jacobs; grandparents, Hermon and Lillian Brooks; uncle, Danny Kay Brooks, and great niece, Shea Carden. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday July 25, 2015 at the Lamb’s Chapel in Haw River with the Rev. Stephen Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Chestnut Ridge UMC Cemetery in Efland. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service on Saturday at The lamb’s Chapel, and other times at the residence of his sister Christy Hill at 6906 Lebanon Road, Mebane, NC.
