Mark Daniel Wakefield Jr.

Mr. Mark Daniel Wakefield Jr. 38, of Graham, NC passed away May 5, 2022 at UNC Hospitals, Chapel Hill. Born in Orange Co. FL on May 28, 1983 to the late Mark Daniel Wakefield Sr. and Jean Imbasciani Wakefield, who survives. Mark graduated from Graham High School in 2001 and he loved his home. Mark had a gift when it came to glass working and had an artistry skill in laying tile. He was a giving man and had a beautiful soul that he shared with everyone. He was a people person who always put the needs of others above his own. Mark enjoyed playing the guitar and going to live music shows but most importantly he loved his family and friends. Surviving is his mother, Jean I. Wakefield and his brother, Tony Wakefield. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday May 14, 2022 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham located at 1030 South Main Street Graham, NC 27253. A reception will follow at Maple Street Tavern in downtown Graham from 1:00 until 4:00 PM.
