Mark Anthony Whitmore

HAW RIVER - Mark Anthony Whitmore, 55, passed away June 28, 2014, at the Hospice Home. He was born in Alamance County. He worked in heating and air and was a member of Bethsada Baptist Church. Mark is survived by a son, Jesse Whitmore of Aberdeen, N.C., his mother, Iona Burnette Whitmore of the home; sisters, Rita Jones (Franky) of Haw River, Debra Long (Mike) of Elon, Diane Cumberland of Mississippi; brother, Michael Whitmore of Haw River. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Cleophus Whitmore. There will be no funeral service.
