Mary Lea Blackwell Warren

Mary Lea Blackwell Warren, 94, passed away on December 6, 2021 at the Authoracare Hospice Home in Burlington.  She was the daughter of the late Claude and Elna Blackwell.  Before Mary retired she worked in the textile industry.    She is survived by her sons, Mike Warren (Lenora) of Burlington, Donald Warren (Sue) of Sherrill’s Ford and Dean Warren (Sheron) of Burlington; grandchildren, Sheryl Barnes (Sean), Stacy Warren (Maribeth), Brad Warren (Brenda), Michael Warren (Carla), Jason Jones (Shannon) and Adam Jones (Deanna); 12 great grandchildren and her sister Ann Allen.  Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Willaim “Henry” Warren, a son Keith Warren and her brother Claude Allen Blackwell.  A graveside service will be held on Thursday December 9, 2021 at 1pm at Prospect United Methodist Church Cemetery 1900 US 158 Yanceyville, NC 27379. The family will receive friends from 10-12pm on Thursday at McClure Funeral Service in Graham other times they will be at the home of her son Dean Warren.  The family would like to express a very special gratitude and appreciation for the caregivers of Authoracare Hospice and Piedmont Health Senior Care (PACE).
