Mary Shaffer Carter

MEBANE - Mary Shaffer Carter, 80, passed away on December 11, 2014, at ARMC. She was the daughter of the late Johnny Frank Shaffer and Ida Dale Edwards Shaffer.Survivors include her step-son Jamie Carter of Burlington, brothers; Sam Shaffer and Olen Shaffer, sisters; Lorraine Barnes and Shirley Swinney.Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Hollis Carter and a sister Evelyn Richardson Williams.A graveside service will be held on Monday December 15, 2014, at Raleigh Memorial Park at 11:00am.Online condolences may be sent at www.mcclurefuneralservice.net -
