Mary Faucette

Miss Mary Alice Faucette, 80, of Burlington passed away Monday, April 26th, 2021 at the Hospice Home of Alamance. Mary was born in Alamance County, NC to Paul Willard Faucette and Elsie Mae Blackwood Faucette, both deceased. Mary kept her faith by attending church with her sisters over the years. Mary can be remembered as a lively soul, described as an Angel on Earth, always making others around her laugh and feel welcome in her presence. When she wasn’t making people laugh, she spent time going anywhere and doing anything she could with her sisters, never refusing a trip. Mary had enough love in her heart for everyone she met, giving in any way she could and putting everyone else first. Mary had a fondness for many of life’s treasures, but she can be especially remembered as cherishing and loving her family.

Mary is survived by her sisters, Linda McPherson (Phil), Judy Faucette, and Suzanne Fogt (Craig), an aunt, Doris Hatfield, two nieces, Paula Hall (Jeff), and Amy Basil (Tony), a nephew, Jason McPherson, and four great nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held for the family to receive friends on Friday, April 30, 2021 from 1pm-2pm at the McClure Funeral Home in Graham. A service will be held following the visitation at 2pm in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice Home of Alamance-Caswell.
