Mary Ellen Herring

Graham Mary Ellen Herring, 80, of Graham died Thursday, December 10 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Chatham County, Retired from Glendale Hosiery Company in Siler City and a member of South Fork Friends Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Lorene Braxton Hadley; husband, Wade Alton Herring; Daughter, Carol Faye Herring and brother, John David Hadley. She is survived by her daughter, Connie Herring Parrish and husband John of Concord; son, Don Herring and wife Bonnie of Graham; grandchildren, Amanda VonCannon, Danielle Parrish; step granddaughter, Lindsey Boggs and great grandson, Adrian Howard. A service to celebrate her life will be 2:00 PM Sunday at South Fork Friends Church by Pastor Michael Thames. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Graham 5:00 – 7:00 Saturday evening , other times at the residence of Don Herring, 2833-A South NC 87, Graham.
