Mary Elizabeth Keck Jones

GRAHAM - Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Keck Jones, 88 of 323 Moser Street, Graham, NC, passed 4:19 am Saturday, October 5, 2013, at the Alamance Regional Medical Center.Born in Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late James Edgar Keck and Ella Mae Zachary Keck, was a member of the Andrews Memorial Baptist Church and retired employee of the former Memorial Hospital of Alamance County.She is survived by her husband of the home, Vester Lee Jones; daughters, Vanessa Robertson and husband Doug, of Snow Camp, and Kirsti Kicask and husband Fred, of Madison; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brother, Homer Keck and wife Shirley, of Snow Camp; sisters, Ruth Currie, of Snow Camp, and Glenda Clampitt, of Columbus, SC. Preceding her in death was a daughter, Elwanda Jones, and son, Vester Jones Jr. The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Graham on Sunday afternoon from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm, other times at the residence. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Monday October 7, 2013, at the Andrews Memorial Baptist Church, Graham, NC with Dr. Tommy Willis officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church Cemetery.
