Mary Jean Knighten, 69 of Burlington passwd away on January 23, 2026. She was a native of Guilford County, Retired from Gold Toe Hosiery. She is the daughter of the late Donald Perry & Aileen Glascoe Hines and was married to the late Roger Wayne Knighten.
She is survived by her son, Wayne Knighten and wife Brandy; several nieces and nephews and a great niece.
A service to celebrate her life will be 11:00 AM Thursday at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Ernest Beck. Burial will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 – 11:00 before the service.
