Mary Elizabeth Lanier

Mary Elizabeth Lanier 64 of 2422, Lot 3, South NC Highway 119, Mebane, NC, went to be with her Lord 3:43.pm Sunday, February 14, 2016 at her home. She was born in Durham County, NC and worked in Children Daycare preparing delicious food for the children. Mary is survived by her mother Helen Dollar Collins of Albany, Ga., 2 daughters Chris Evans of Graham, Karen Evans of Mebane, son Michael Evans and wife Robyn of Efland, sisters Betty Lanier of Haw River, Lydia Spurlin of Albany Ga., brother Luther Quincy Lanier of Hillsborough 7 Grandchildren Christopher Gomez and wife Mellissa, Erika Enciso and husband Mike, Brandon Zamora, Steven Gonzalez, Breanna Evans, Dillon West, Haleigh Hitefield and 4 Great Grandchildren Maia Gomez, Nikolas Enciso, Cierra Gomez, Jaxxon Morris. She was preceded in death by her father Luther Thomas Lanier, son Hugh Allen Evans Jr. sister Virginia Harward Keeter. A Memorial Service will be held 6:00 pm Friday, February 19, 2016 in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel, 1308 S. Third Street, Mebane, NC officiated by Pastor Tommy Bright. The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the residence.. Memorials may be made to the Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance/Caswell.
