Mary Rita Lema

Ms. Mary R. Lema, 91, passed away on Saturday December 26, 2015 at her residence. Mary loved gardening, flowers, and quilting. She was retired from Duke Hospital. She was of the Catholic Faith. She is survived by her daughter: Sharon Sellars & husband Michael; son: Stephen Lavenents & wife LeAnne; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brother: Frank Puskar. She was preceded in death by her parents: Stephen and Mary Puskar; son: Chester Keith “CK” Lavenents; five brothers; and one sister. A service will be conducted on Wednesday December 30th, 2015 at 2:00PM at McClure Funeral Chapel in Mebane with burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm at McClure Funeral & Cremation Service in Mebane on Tuesday, December 29th, 2015 and other times at the residence.
